PIP Product Specialists, Chris Barrington and Travis Estes Earn Coveted QSSP Designation

PIP is pleased to announce that PIP Product Specialists, Chris Barrington and Travis Estes have earned the designation of Qualified Safety Sales Professional (QSSP).
The QSSP course is a rigorous, week-long course focusing on the technical and regulatory fundamentals of workplace safety for sales professional. Course Director Rick Raymer, CSP, states "QSSP increases the knowledge and competency of the safety sales professional which builds trust and credibility in the customer relationship. The resulting partnership can be instrumental in reducing injury and illness in the workplace."
Chris Barrington is the Sr. PPE Product Specialist for the Midwest. He began his career in Safety in 1995. Chris has held Sales positions in multiple Safety companies which include: Justrite Manufacturing, DuPont, Advanced Supply Company, Scott and Bacou/Sperian (now Honeywell).
Travis Estes has been with PIP since 2012. This follows a fast-rising career within the Safety industry. He has worked for Fire Tech and Safety as a Product Specialist for Haz-Mat and Gas Detection products as well as a Regional Sales Manager for HL Bouton Co., recently purchased by PIP.
The QSSP program is sponsored by the International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA), the association for personal protective equipment and technologies. Since its creation in 1995, over 1100 marketing and sales professionals have completed the course.
