Latham Glove Manufacturer Names New CFO

Protective Industrial Products has named Sean Weil as the Latham, New York-based manufacturer's new chief financial officer.
Protective Industrial supplies hard hats, work gloves, safety goggles and reflective vests, and other equipment. It has more than 300 employees worldwide with more than $200 million in sales. Weil will be overseeing the finance and accounting departments.
Weil joined Protective Industrial last year as a controller. Before that, he was the finance director of Ketchum Inc.'s New York office.
He graduated from the University at Albany with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He started his career at KPMG in New York City, where he made his way to Audit Manager. He has also worked at the Interpublic Group of Companies, Omnicom Group and was CFO and COO of Harrison & Shriftman.
Protective Industrial has United States offices in Tennessee and California as well as its headquarters in Latham and a distribution center in Guilderland.
