PIP Canada Ltd. Announces Organizational Changes

LAVAL, QC – November 17, 2020 – PIP Canada Ltd. (“PIP Canada”) a leading supplier of PPE and hand protection under the Dynamic and PIP brands announces a leadership progression.

After nearly half a century in the role of entrepreneur, executive and mentor, Claude Roberge has made his decision to relinquish helm position as President of PIP Canada and move to a more consultative role within the organization. Sylvain Lefebvre, a 20+ year veteran of Safety in Canada, is appointed as Vice President & General Manager for PIP Canada. Sylvain will report directly to Joe Milot, President and CEO of PIP Global – headquartered in Latham, NY.

Asked to comment on his career, Claude Roberge summed it up as, “One heck of a ride!”. He added, “I’d do it all again – manufacturing quality products that help keep working people safe has been my dedication. I’ve been very blessed with prosperity and great people around me.” Joe Milot noted Claude’s comments and added, “Claude is titan of this industry. He has contributed so much and worked tirelessly for everything that he built. I am pleased that he will remain in a consultative role with PIP as we continue to set our plans for global growth.”

As the PIP Canada leadership team transitions, Sylvain Lefebvre has announced reorganization of the Sales leadership team. This includes the creation of a new Vice President of Sales for Canada role filled by recently hired Laird Comber. Mr. Lefebvre also reorganized the field sales leadership team to now include regional directors Mike Havens (Western Canada), Brad Machado (Ontario) and newly onboarded Marquis Poissant (Eastern Canada). John Greer remains Senior Vice President of Sales.

These changes allow for PIP Canada to fully leverage the production investments that have been made throughout 2020, including over $1M in advanced robotic manufacturing at its head office in Laval, Quebec that resulted in a tripling of production capacity to key product lines. This is in addition to the state-of-the-art 50,000 Sq Ft. distribution center that PIP Canada unveiled in Laval in 2019. PIP Canada is a leader in offering a complete line of advanced hand protection and PPE solutions, and with these changes they aim to strengthen the overall organization’s global presence, further positioning PIP Global for growth, competitiveness, and the challenges that the “next normal” will bring.
