LATHAM, NY – August 12, 2016, Bridget Milot, Vice President of Administration and Corporate Counsel for Protective Industrial Products (PIP), is pleased to announce major investments in human capital and infrastructure that will further enhance PIP's prominence as a technologically sophisticated leader in the safety industry. PIP is furthering its strategy of investing in and utilizing technology to exceed customer and vendor experiences in e-commerce, B2B data interchange and information technology infrastructure.
Mr. Richard Hellar has been appointed Chief Information Officer for Protective Industrial Products and its global subsidiaries. Mr. Hellar has over 20 years of solid experience successfully leading and managing infrastructure, operations and technology strategies of multi-unit global organizations including Proximo Spirits, a subsidiary of Jose Cuervo International as Head of IT, and D&H Distributing, headquartered in Pennsylvania, as Chief Information Officer. Richard's progressive experience with e-business (B2B, B2C and customer portals), e-commerce, applications, and strategic optimization of business processes will fortify the Company's plans to lead the safety industry. Ms. Milot explains, "The primary focus will be on our customers with the goal of aligning our IT team with theirs in order to improve electronic data interchange, mass data information transfers and technology alignment. The ultimate goal – less processing time – more customer-facing time and an enhanced customer experience."
